I care about forests, people and good business -  and about turning ideas into decisions that move capital into nature.
My work is about guidance to createmomentum where complexity would otherwise slow things down. That doesn’t mean pushing for speed — it means slowing things down where needed, so decisions are made with clarity and don’t unravel later.

I bring more than 20 years of experience across science, forestry, sustainable development and communication, working at the intersection of land use, markets and real-world decision-making.

I trained in biology and forestry and have spent much of my career in communications, business development or other people-facing roles. For many years, I was the sole editor of a feature magazine for the UK forestry and timber sector, working across the supply chain and translating complex technical, policy and business issues into language that different audiences can actually use.

Since then, my focus has been on nature-based solutions and nature data - and on how ecosystem services are translated into decisions, standards and investable propositions in still-emerging markets. I’ve worked close to projects, but also with organisations, investors and framework developers, often stepping in where complexity is high and the risk of misalignment is real.

What people tend to value is my ability to hold the thread and to notice when something no longer stacks up. I’m intuitive, but I care deeply about logic. I’m comfortable with uncertainty, but I like decisions to be defensible. Much of my work is about spotting where ideas, claims or structures won’t stand up later - and helping address that before capital, credibility or trust are put at risk.

My focus on enabling nature finance decision also has a personal back story. I grew up close to the world of finance - I’m a banker’s daughter - and over time have found myself in a space where the worlds of capital, meaning and impact are converging at last. Helping bridge those worlds now feels like a chance for me to go full circle.

My full working and delivery languages are English and Spanish, but I’m happy for our conversation to be in German or Brazilian Portuguese.

I work independently but draw on a strong international network across forestry, climate, nature finance and technology, bringing in trusted collaborators where this adds value.
